PRIVACY NOTICE
1. Data controller
The controller is Cube Engineering s.r.l., registered office at Via San Martino Della Battaglia, 31 - 00185 Rome, available at cubeng@pec.it and +39 06 21116268.
2. Categories of data
We process identification and contact details, correspondence, contract and payment data, technical browsing data and, for order phone verification and Customer Area sign-in, mobile number and SMS OTP outcomes. The Contact form also uses Google reCAPTCHA, which receives your IP address and browsing-behaviour data to compute an anti-spam score. The site's chat (tawk.to) processes conversation content and technical browsing data to provide real-time support.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Data is processed to respond to enquiries and take pre-contractual steps, including through the site's chat; perform contracts and provide services; comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations; protect legal rights and prevent abuse, including the use of Google reCAPTCHA on the Contact form, under legitimate interest; and send marketing or use non-essential cookies only with consent.
4. Processing and security
Processing uses paper and electronic systems in accordance with lawfulness, fairness, transparency, minimisation and storage limitation. Appropriate safeguards include access controls, encryption where appropriate, backups and event logging.
5. Recipients and transfers
Data may be disclosed to authorised staff, advisers and the suppliers that make the service possible: hosting and database (Supabase), online payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, SumUp), SMS delivery for phone verification (Twilio and/or Aruba), email delivery, Google reCAPTCHA for protection against automated traffic, tawk.to for the site's chat and, only if authorised via the cookie banner, Google Tag Manager for analytics; all appointed as processors where required. Data is disclosed to competent authorities when legally required. Stripe, PayPal, Twilio, Google and tawk.to are also based outside the European Economic Area and may process data elsewhere: the transfer relies on the safeguards adopted by each supplier, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
Enquiries are retained for up to 24 months; contractual, tax and payment records for 10 years; OTP logs normally for 12 months; signed documents for the legally required period or as needed to protect rights; cookie preferences for 6 months. Data is then erased or anonymised.
7. Requirement to provide data
Fields marked mandatory are needed to reply or provide a service. Without them we cannot proceed. Marketing and cookie consent is optional and may be withdrawn without affecting prior processing.
8. Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and object, or withdraw consent, by emailing cubeng@pec.it or calling +39 06 21116268. You may complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
9. Updates and automated decisions
We do not use solely automated decisions producing legal effects. This notice may be updated; last revised 24 September 2026.
Customer Area — sign-in and documents
The private area uses your email, a non-reversible derived password hash, registered mobile and temporary SMS codes to verify your identity. You can download only contracts assigned to your own account. Identity-document uploads are not currently enabled.
Necessary authentication cookies support the service: the SMS challenge lasts up to 5 minutes and the session up to 2 hours. Contracts are held in encrypted private storage; login and download events are recorded for security. Scheduled cleanup removes logs older than 90 days. Contact the controller for support, registered-mobile changes or to exercise your rights.
